Founder, event designer, and event architect Amy Jaye is a Midwestern gal originally from the Windy City who grew up in a large family filled with exemplary hostesses. Always wanting to be in the thick of things, at the age of five she learned to play tambourine on “Jeremiah was a Bullfrog” for the band that performed at every family wedding. It was a sure gig at least three times a summer (it really WAS a big family after all!), and cemented her love for events that bring people together.
Amy spent more than ten years planning festivals, conventions, and meetings in the entertainment, software, and hospitality industries. In 2007 she began helping friends and family organize the special moments of their lives: weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and anniversary parties. That hostess instinct took over, and in July of 2007 the company that would become Amysing Events was born.
